SFTPPlus Server release series 1.8.X reached end of life

We are announcing that SFTPlus Server version 1.8 has reached end of life.
As described in our Product Life Cycle page, SFTPPlus version 1.8 was released on 03/10/2012.
The end of life was reached on 08/04/2016, 3 years after version 2 was released.
Security and other features have been updated in later versions and new functionality added under our development programme. An upgrade is recommended in order to take advantage of all such updates and enhancements. The upgrade is free of charge and fully supported.
Customers can continue to use SFTPPlus Server version 1.8 as there is no limitation build in SFTPPlus which prevent using the product past its end of life.
Customers which require extended support for SFTPPus Server version 1.8 can get in touch with us to arrange the extended support.
SFTPPlus Server version 2 continues to be supported until 17/09/2018.
No end of life is announced yet for SFTPPlus version 3, but it will supported for at least another 3 years after a end of life date is announced.
SFTPPlus Server 2.12.1 Release

We have just release SFTPPlus Server version 2.12.1. This is a bugfix / maintenance release for the version 2 release series, which is supported until 17/09/2018.
Here are the fixed included in this release:
- Allow PROT command to be issues by a FTPS client before the USER command. [#3017][ftps]
- Fix an internal server error when the FTP specific AUTH command is issued by a client for a FTP service for which the FTPS extensions were not enabled. [#3017][ftps]
SFTPPlus Server 2.12.0 Release

We are pleased to announce the latest release of SFTPPlus Server, version 2.12.0 which continue improving the management of SSL key and certificate signing request from the Local Manger GUI and the command line interface.
We have extended the support for Solaris to include Solars 10 on SPARC and for next release we plan to add support for Solaris 11 on SPARC.
Starting with this version new server installations are initialized with SSH RSA keys of size 2048.

SFTPPlus Server 2.11.0 Release

We are pleased to announce the latest release of SFTPPlus Server, version 2.11.0 which continue improving the integration with web based micro services. You can now get the folder content, create folder, remove folders and files using a JSON based API.
We have extended the support for ARM 64bit CPUs to any Linux distribution providing the OpenSSL 1.0.X library.
Starting with this release we support HP-UX 11i v3 on Intel Itanium (IA-64) architecture and Solaris 11 on Intel x86 architecture.

SFTPPlus Server 2.10.0 Release

We are pleased to announce the latest release of SFTPPlus Server, version 2.10.0 which improves integration with web based micro services. You can not send audit event to HTTP endpoints and authenticate accounts from HTTP providers.
Monitoring local folders is now an officially supported feature and you can use it to audit file activity occurred outside of the SFTPPlus Server process.
Starting with this release we support ARM 64bit CPUs based on ARM64 (ARMv8-A/AArch64) architecture. Initial support is provided for Ubuntu 14.04 and was tested on an HP Moonshot m400 system based on Applied Micro X-Gene (Mustang) CPU. We are committed to expand the list of supported operating system on low power server systems. More systems will be supported in future releases.
We have retired support for x86 CPU on Ubuntu Server. X86_64 support is still present. We now provide a generic Linux build for Linux X86 servers.
The database audit events logger now consumes significantly less memory than in previous version due to work in optimizing the general database access layer.
